The Boltz Middle School Technology Education program and teacher Scott Sandell were honored recently with a Program Excellence award from the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association.
The Program Excellence award for Boltz was announced at the recent Colorado Technology Education Association’s annual Rocky Mountain Regional Conference.
Sponsored by the ITEEA and Paxton/Patterson, the Program Excellence award is one of the highest honors given to technology education classroom teachers on the elementary, middle or high school levels. It is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions to the profession and students. Schools from all over the United States and around the world compete for this honor.
This year the program at Boltz Middle School will be recognized at the first general session of the 74th annual ITEEA conference in Long Beach, California, where the award plaques and pins will be presented.
