Located in Fullana Learning Center and in 20 district elementary schools, PSD’s Early Childhood program serves more than 1000 children from birth to 5 years old. These programs provide diverse experiences and are supported by local, state, and federal funding sources.
Preschool classes give students an early start on success
Quality preschool, both no cost and tuition based, is available through the Early Childhood Program. The programs include:
Preschool--tuition based
Contact the enrollment office for rates and payment options, (970) 490-3204. Tuition Based sites for 2011/2012 school year are Kruse Elementary, Bacon Elementary, Rice Elementary and Shepardson Elementary.
Preschool--no cost
No-cost preschool is available to families who meet eligibility requirements through Head Start, Colorado Preschool Program and Early Childhood Special Education. The program offers early identification of special needs and early intervention services.
*Children must be 3 years old by September 15 of the year of enrollment for Head Start, Colorado Preschool Program and Tuition based preschool. Children are eligible on their 3rd birthday for Early Childhood Special Education/Integrated Services.
